It seems incredibly appropriate that when J.R. Reid is reached on his cell phone this week, he is...in the barbershop. There was a point in ACC history when Reid's trips to the barber were national news. Reid, once the owner of the most famous hightop fade in Carolina basketball history, almost singlehandedly set a hair trend and a national craze during the mid to late 1980s.
