Zac Gallen picked up his second win of the year and Chris McCue got the final eight outs for his seventh save in as many chances as No. 13 North Carolina beat Maryland 9-4 Sunday afternoon at Shipley Field. Michael Russell had three hits and Skye Bolt drove in three as the Tar Heels won their second straight ACC series to improve to 14-5 and 4-2 in league play.
