Meet Phillip Martelli, Phil Martelli’s four-year-old grandson, who spent Sunday afternoon directly behind the St. Joe’s bench doodling on a dry-erase board and wearing a tie long enough to reach the floor. His grandpop’s Hawks topped VCU Sunday to claim their first A-10 tournament title since 1997, Martelli’s second season as head coach.
