Paige declares himself healthy for UNC’s NCAA opener Friday

After a week off to rest and recuperate, Marcus Paige said Tuesday that he’s feeling fine and is not concerned about the lingering effects of a sore left thumb or a deep bruise to his left thigh. As for the thumb, the 6-foot-1 sophomore said he is no longer wearing the wrap he used to protect the injury during the loss to the Panthers.
