Seventh Woods named Gatorade South Carolina Basketball Player of the Year

Hammond School (Columbia, S.C.) sophomore Seventh Woods is the Gatorade South Carolina Boys Basketball Player of the Year. Woods averaged 20 points, 4.1 assists, four steals and 3.6 rebounds per game while shooting 62 percent from inside the arc this past season, leading the Skyhawks to the South Carolina Independent School Association Class AAA quarterfinals. He is ranked as the nation’s No. 14 recruit in the class of 2016 by Rivals and No. 18 by ESPN.
