Tar Heels explore different situation

Robert Woodard looked around Boshamer Stadium on Thursday morning and enjoyed the familiarity that the UNC baseball team will have during the next few days in the NCAA regional. But this is far from normal territory for the Tar Heels. “It’s kind of a new experience,” Woodard said, referring to the team’s status as ACC champion for the first time since 1990. “It’s a little bit different position,” Tar Heels coach Mike Fox said.
