Dascenzo: Triangle football on my mind

It's not that football isn't important in the Triangle, it's just not successful. John Bunting lost his job because alumni weren't convinced he could take the Tar Heels where the haven't been -- to a BCS game. Davis, when he was at Miami, found the way there. If he does it at UNC, they might consider putting a statue of the guy outside Kenan Stadium.
