Boston Marathon Attack steels Shalane Flanagan’s resolve

Few participants heading into this year’s Boston Marathon hold as deep a passion for the hallowed event as Marblehead native and two-time U.S. Olympian Shalane Flanagan, whose intense approach has only become more magnified in the wake of last year’s bombings. “The eyes of the world will be watching and it’s important to show how we don’t have any fear,” Flanagan said.
