Tar Heel Men's Golf Team Tied For 22nd At NCAA Championship


The University of North Carolina men's golf team fired a nine-over-par 289 in the first round of the NCAA Championship at Golden Horseshoe's Gold Course and is tied for 22nd place with Southern California. Stanford leads the field of 30 teams after firing a five-under-par 275. Tar Heel senior Martin Ureta, from Santiago, Chile, fired an even par 70 and is tied for 29th place. (Tar Heel Blue)
