NCAA approves unlimited meals, snacks for student athletes

The NCAA's Legislative Council approved a rule Tuesday that will allow Division I student athletes to receive unlimited meals and snacks along with athletic participation, according to a release from the NCAA. The rule applies to walk-ons and scholarship athletes and is an effort to make sure athletes have their nutritional needs met, according to the NCAA. The rule comes about a week after UConn guard Shabazz Napier made news by saying there are nights he goes to bed "starving." (Greensboro News & Record)
