Shalane Flanagan hopes knowledge is power

Shalane Flanagan has entered a new phase in her relationship with the Boston Marathon course. In fact, Flanagan is happy to admit they’ve been seeing a lot more of each other lately. The 32-year-old American hopeful from Marblehead will make her second start on the torturous 26.2-mile track in Monday’s 118th running of the Boston Marathon. (Boston Herald)
