UNC no longer recruiting 2014 SG Elijah Stewart
Posted Apr 24, 2014
UNC will not offer a scholarship to 2014 shooting guard Elijah Stewart. UNC coach Roy Williams and assistant C.B. McGrath were in Los Angeles Tuesday to watch the shooting guard. "They will no longer pursue (Elijah)." A source close to Stewart told CarolinaBlue. "Timetables just didn't match up. Coach Williams really liked him but would like to see him play a few more times. With the time frame of everything that's going on it just won't work because he won't be playing anymore games."
