UNC inks point guard
Posted May 25, 2007
Larry Drew Jr. has chosen to attend college about 3,000 miles away from his family, but part of the reason for his decision is the family-oriented atmosphere he's going to enter at North Carolina. "I'm really looking forward to it," said Drew, a point guard from Encino, Calif., who has committed to play basketball at UNC. "I'll miss home, but I know once I get there, the whole Carolina family is going to welcome me with open arms and treat me like family. I can't wait."
