UNC-N.C. State rivalry gains postseason flavor tonight
Posted May 24, 2007
Mike Fox has a message for anyone who believes the UNC-N.C. State rivalry will be dimmed by moving it 450 miles to the south. Forget it. "We could play them on the moon, no matter what the sport, and it would be a big deal," North Carolina's veteran baseball coach said. "And if you don't believe me, just watch." Local fans will receive just that opportunity at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville tonight when the bitter in-state rivals square off on the second day of the ACC Tournament.
