Wake Forest grants release to top basketball recruit Shelton Mitchell

was by far the highest-rated prospect signed during Jeff Bzdelik’s four-year tenure as Wake Forest basketball coach. Unfortunately for Bzdelik, he couldn’t hold onto the job long enough for the four-star point guard to ever play a game for him.
