Tempers boil as Tar Heels punish Elon

In a game ripe with overtones of misbehaving players, North Carolina hit hardest in a 12-6 non-conference baseball game against Elon. It ended up with coaches face-to-face Wednesday night at Latham Park. After a brief handshake, with UNC’s particularly animated again, tempers didn’t simmer until Elon’s Mike Kennedy was conferring with UNC's assistant coaches after Fox was shooed away.
