Detroit Lions offensive coordinator 'really excited' about first round pick Eric Ebron

Detroit Lions general manager Martin Mayhew didn’t try to obscure the obvious and pretend that North Carolina tight end Eric Ebron, their first-round selection with the 10th overall pick, was the best pass-catcher in the NFL draft and the only offensive player who fit the Lions. “Joe (Lombardi) was really excited about this player,” Mayhew said of his offensive coordinator.
