Posted May 12, 2014
National powerhouse Montverde Academy (Fla.) unveiled plans to introduce a second basketball team late last month. Monday the Eagles announced that former North Carolina Tar Heel standout Dante Calabria will serve as head coach for the newly-formed prep squad. Calabria was a 1,000-point scorer at UNC from 1992-1996 under legendary Dean Smith. The Tar Heels reached the Final Four in 1993 and 1995.
