NCAA rules restrict fans from helping homeless athlete


Since “A Suitcase and a Dream,” the life story about future Boise State football player Antoine Turner aired on KTVB on Sunday, May 11, a number of viewers have reached out asking if they can assist the 21-year-old who is currently homeless. NCAA rules prohibit most types of help, especially from fans. A violation could affect Turner’s eligibility at Boise State.
