UNC playing Maryland with NCAA positioning in mind

UNC cannot play for the ACC title, but that does not mean they don’t have a lot to play for Saturday when they face off against Maryland in their ACC tournament finale. Believed to be on the inside of the tournament bubble, UNC could bolster their resume against the Terps who own the nation’s second longest win streak at 11 games (Canisius – 18). (WRAL Sports Fan)
