Butch Davis tackles cancer, UNC football revival

Butch Davis is thinner, which he really doesn't mind. "It was certainly not the diet program I'd choose," he said. The chemotherapy not only took away 15 pounds, it claimed all of his brown hair. At this week's ACC spring meetings, friends who hadn't seen him since March didn't recognize the bald man walking through the lobby of the Ritz-Carlton — until he smiled.
