Posted Jun 16, 2014
Friday, Tommy Hatton, St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, N.J.) junior offensive guard and the No. 7 recruit in the NJ.com Top 50, committed to UNC over offers from Rutgers, South Carolina, Maryland, Boston College, Louisville, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Iowa, Duke, UConn and Indiana. “I’ve known now for like four weeks but I’ve just been kind of keeping it on the down-low a little bit. I just felt like it was the best opportunity for me, to be honest, academically and athletically,” said Hatton.
