Houston Texans trade T.J. Yates to Atlanta Falcons

Rather than let quarterback T.J. Yates get away on waivers, the Texans traded him to Atlanta for inside linebacker Akeem Dent on Wednesday. When the Texans elected to keep Case Keenum over Yates, he became expendable, and general manager Rick Smith was able to engineer the trade. (Houston Chronicle)
