Tyrell Godwin makes the grade

New Chattanooga Lookouts outfielder Tyrell Godwin went through UNC on the Morehead Scholarship from 1997-2001, earning a degree in U.S. history while playing baseball and football. Godwin chose the Morehead, roughly a $20,000 annual savings value for in-state students, over a $1.9 million contract from the New York Yankees in 1997 and said he would make the same decision today.
