2015 LB Johnathan Sutton commits to UNC
Posted Jun 21, 2014
During a return visit to North Carolina for Fedora’s Freak Show, Johnathan Sutton verbally committed to the Tar Heels, sources confirm. Sutton, a 5-foot-11, 214-pound linebacker from Swansea (S.C.), chose UNC over scholarship offers from nearly 20 schools, including Auburn, Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, NC State, Tennessee, and Virginia Tech. His scholarship count would have likely increased if he hadn’t suffered a season-ending knee injury three games into his junior season.
