In three years, James Michael McAdoo has gone from high school All-American to projected NBA first-round pick to an enigmatic performer who didn't live up to the hype others heaped on him. Now, McAdoo is hoping to forge another identity: as a steal in tonight's NBA draft. It's a chance at revisionist history for a player who has been a case study in the way expectations influence perception.
