NBA draft next step in P.J. Hairston's unusual journey

P.J. Hairston appears to have improved his draft stock with his play in Texas. But after leaving North Carolina, he still had to answer to NBA general managers about his conduct and decision-making. ESPN’s mock NBA front office selected Hairston 11th overall in its draft exercise. That group comprised five people that included a former NBA GM and talent evaluator.
