San Antonio Spurs’ Danny Green emerged as an important cog in the Spurs’ system during their 2014 NBA championship run. He was as a deadly three-point shooter, a solid defender and a professional as he understood his role in order to help the team reach its goal. But before he became an NBA champion, Green started off in the NBA’s D-League where he honed his skills and paid his dues.
