Vince Carter impressing in whole new ways now

Since he was a middle-teen in the early ’90s, Vince Carter has impressed people. At first blush, with his basketball skills, but also, eventually, with his naturally friendly demeanor and well-rounded interests (he was a Mainland High drum major, don’t forget). But we wouldn’t have known about any of that other stuff if we hadn’t first known Vince Carter the basketball player.
