UNC defense suffers big hit with loss of Lipford

North Carolina's football team has been receiving some positive projections for 2014 in the early preseason magazines. But those expectations could quickly go up in smoke if the Tar Heels suffer many more losses like the one that occurred Wednesday. UNC lost one of the best athletes on its team when it was revealed that junior linebacker Darius Lipford has made himself eligible for the NFL's Supplemental Draft.
