Lakers Waive Kendall Marshall

The Lakers waived point guard Kendall Marshall, who started 45 games during the 2013-14 season, on Friday morning. A rash of injuries to point guards on the Lakers’ roster early in the season resulted in Marshall’s calling up from the NBA D-League in mid-December, and the North Carolina product quickly exceeded expectations.
