UNC’s Williams thriving on the competition...if it’s really a competition at all

Despite completing 58 percent of his passes for 1,765 yards and 15 touchdowns, along with leading his team in rushing, Marquise Williams still finds himself in a position of having to prove himself. Williams enters fall camp running neck-and-neck with Mitch Trubisky. The fact that he’s being asked to re-earn his position against a redshirt freshman might be construed as a vote of no-confidence to some. But not Williams.
