N.C. State blows out UNC in first of three

Robert Woodard hoped to enjoy a historic night. Instead, he endured one. Trying to take over sole possession of first place on North Carolina's all-time wins list, Woodard had the worst start of his college baseball career Friday night. N.C. State got revenge against its old nemesis, hanging career-high totals of 12 hits and eight runs on Woodard en route to an 11-1 victory over No. 6 UNC at Doak Field.
