Tar Heels Ranked 23rd in AP Pre-Season Football Poll

Florida State received 57 of 60 first-place votes Sunday in The Associated Press preseason college football poll. The ACC placed three teams in the first poll. In addition to Florida State, Clemson was slotted at No. 16 and UNC came in at No. 23. It is the first time since 2010 that the Tar Heels will start the season in the AP top 25.
