Kenny Williams commits to VCU
Posted Aug 19, 2014
The draw of staying close to home was too much to pass up for Kenny Williams. Williams, a 6-foot-3 guard from Chesterfield (Va.) L.C. Bird, committed to Shaka Smart and VCU on Tuesday afternoon. Williams informed Scout.com of his decision. "It's a perfect fit for me," Williams said. VCU was among the first schools to recruit Williams. He also strongly considered North Carolina, Michigan, Indiana and Georgetown.
