Heels: Playing time up for grabs

Deon Thompson of North Carolina had a summer of basketball and hard training planned, but he’ll be sweating even more after Brandan Wright’s decision to leave school and enter the NBA Draft. Thompson, who will be a sophomore next season, will be among three players that Coach Roy Williams will count on to help replace Wright, last season’s ACC rookie of the year and ACC Tournament MVP.
