From a financial perspective, Brandan Wright couldn’t afford to wait. North Carolina’s standout freshman forward is expected to formally announce today that he’s leaving school to enter the NBA draft. In doing so, the 6-foot-9 Wright will set the stage to be selected no lower than fifth, but probably third, in the June draft. ( -- Raleigh News & Observer)
