Patchwork secondary rises to the occasion for UNC in season opening win


The visiting Flames were held to only 106 total yards in the second half. More importantly, the newly aggressive Tar Heels took the ball away five times – including three during a game-breaking flurry that saw UNC score four touchdowns in just 3:49 to turn a close game into a rout. Linebacker had the biggest play of the night with an interception that turned into a 19-yard touchdown. (Wilmington Star News)
