UNC Postgame Chalkboard: Uneven Opener

Carolina displayed improvement in many areas, but the inconsistency that has cost the Heels a few close games in recent years resurfaced, as a few loose plays in the second and third quarters helped keep the game from being a colossal blowout. The defense has definitely upgraded athletically over the past two years and should no longer be a weakness this year. (Inside Carolina)
