UNC faces frustrating flaws despite win

In addition to Tim Scott, who picked off a pass from San Diego State's Quinn Kaehler with 14 seconds left, Brian Walker was one of the game's defensive heroes. He grabbed a Kaehler pass early in the second quarter and ran it back for a 101-yard touchdown. It ended up being one of his two interceptions. Larry Fedora pointed out that play helped bring the Tar Heels' tally of turnovers this season to nine.
