On Saturday, Carolina won a game in which they were shut out of the first quarter, shut out offensively in the first quarter for the first time in Larry Fedora’s tenure, and whose opening five drives consisted of four punts and a turnover, none of which gained over seventeen yards. But it didn’t matter because of a couple big plays. UNC’s opening-half statistics read more like one long drive than an entire half of football
