Through the looking glass

An estimated crowd of better than 8,000 people watched ' UNC football team perform on Saturday in the annual spring game. The Tar Heels may well have found a quarterback. Redshirt freshman of Georgia threw for three touchdowns, completed 10 of his 15 passes for 163 yards and one interception. Who knows what might happen in a real game this fall, but for this one afternoon at least, Yates played with poise beyond his years. (Chapel Hill News)
