Former UNC guard Leslie McDonald to play in Israel


Former UNC guard will start his professional career playing in the Israeli National League. The Memphis native who spent five injury-plagued years in Chapel Hill inked a deal with Hapoel Kfar Saba after a senior season at UNC in which he averaged 10.4 points, 2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. During his Tar Heel career McDonald scored 841 points in 125 games (6.7 per game). He made 147 career three-pointers while shooting 33.3% from beyond the arc. (Carolina Blue)
