True Frosh Tyler Powell Emerging Up Front

Tyler Powell needed just one series to adjust to college football, and needed just one game to grade out tops amongst North Carolina’s defensive linemen. On June 6, Powell competed in the Virginia 6A track and field championships, finishing second in the shot put with a throw of 61-2 ½. Less than three months later, he turned in UNC’s cleanest performance up front.
