Ram snares football offer from UNC

Just when Terrence Brown figured baseball was his future, a phone call from the University of North Carolina changed that. Brown visited the Tar Heels' campus at Chapel Hill over the weekend and the former Fresno City College punter gave new football coach Butch Davis an oral commitment. "It just shows that if guys keep working hard and keep the faith, there are opportunities for everybody," Fresno City coach Tony Caviglia said.
