Ethan Farmer tackles long journey of adversity

It’s fitting that Ethan Farmer has to miss part of practice to be in the classroom — after all, an undisclosed academic issue nearly prevented him from stepping on the field at all this season. As the only player left on the roster from Butch Davis’ final fall, Farmer is one of the oldest on the team, especially among the young defensive line. He’s been through a lot since he arrived in Chapel Hill.
