History says Butch Davis faces an uphill battle

Butch Davis will be the sixth UNC football coach I will get the opportunity to write about. The five before him never could take the Tar Heels to one of those -- well, here's what we call them now -- Bowl Championship Series games. Those are the Rose, Fiesta, Sugar and Orange bowls. Now look, it's not that the Tar Heels cannot play in these games, it's just that they don't. (Durham Herald-Sun)
