Butch Davis says he is not afraid to go young

North Carolina will likely play more freshmen under Coach Butch Davis than it did under any of his predecessors. Davis generally plans to play any freshman who can help UNC win. He specifically will need the incoming class of 24 players to fill holes and start building his program. Davis will play future freshmen because he expects some will not use all of their college eligibility if he lands the recruits he wants.
