Butch Davis near end of chemotherapy
Posted Apr 14, 2007
North Carolina coach Butch Davis may have lost his hair, but he hasn't lost his vitality. "I feel great," Davis said Thursday. He is undergoing precautionary chemotherapy treatments after a cancerous growth was removed from his mouth. Davis, who started the treatments on March 16, was scheduled to undergo another one Friday. His last one, he said, will be in two weeks. "And then I'll be done with the chemo,'' he said.
