Despite loss, UNC defense shows improvement

Last week, North Carolina lost yet another game by more than 15 points – their third consecutive blowout loss. Yet, this one had a different feeling. Instead of the UNC defense being the one to blame for another poor result, it was the offense that did not carry their end of the bargain. Quietly, it was the best game the much-maligned defense had played all season.
